I work from a room based at the Brampton Community Centre called the Talkin room. It has easy access from the reception area. Parking is available at the centre in various car parks around the building. The room has been designed by me to offer comfort, privacy and relaxation. WC facilities, water, tea and coffee are available for your comfort. Music can play quietly in the background if this provides more relaxation for you but generally sessions are talking only.
Some people have requested ‘Walk and Talk’ sessions round Talkin Tarn and Hammonds pond. ‘Walk and Talk’ sessions can offer a little more freedom for you. If you do not feel comfortable in a room talking one on one I will try and offer other places that may suit. ‘Walk and Talk’ sessions are weather and light dependent due to safety reasons.
Other suggestions such as a cafe or a library, can be made but they would need to be mutually agreed and contracted on due to confidentiality issues.
A one off initial session would take place in the Talkin room so that places and times can be agreed on and any issues can be discussed.
